Pakistan-Iraq Historic and Fraternal Ties Need Further Strengthening Governor Sindh

Iraqi Acting Consul General Abul Hakam Adnan Sadiq called on Governor Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi at Governor House on Tuesday.

The Iraqi diplomat offered condolences over the passing of the governor’s father-in-law. He also prayed for the forgiveness of the departed soul and for patience for the bereaved family.

The meeting focused on Pakistan-Iraq relations and areas of mutual interest. Both sides discussed educational and cultural cooperation. They also discussed delegation visits and student exchanges.

Governor Calls for Stronger Cultural and Educational Ties

Governor Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi said Pakistan and Iraq share historic and fraternal relations.

He noted that both countries have deep similarities in their religious and cultural values.

The governor stressed the need to expand educational and cultural exchanges between Pakistan and Iraq.

He said delegation and student exchanges could give young people a better understanding of each country’s history, culture and traditions.
