HKSCA President Muhammad Saeed Sheikh Attends Saudi National Day Celebration in Houston

Houston-Karachi Sister City Association (HKSCA) President Muhammad Saeed Sheikh attended the celebration of Saudi Arabia’s 96th National Day in Houston.

Sheikh attended the event with his wife, Farida Sheikh. The celebration brought together diplomats, community leaders and international representatives.

During the event, Sheikh met Saudi Arabia’s newly appointed Consul General in Houston, Wafa bint Abdullah Al-Marzouqi. He welcomed her and congratulated her on her appointment.

Sheikh Congratulates Saudi Leadership and People

Sheikh extended his congratulations to the leadership and people of Saudi Arabia on the National Day.

He also wished Consul General Al-Marzouqi success in her new diplomatic assignment.

The HKSCA president said he looked forward to continued engagement with the Saudi Consulate.

He also expressed interest in future cooperation that could strengthen Houston’s international and community relationships.

Diplomats and Community Leaders Attend

The celebration also brought together members of Houston’s Consular Corps.

Representatives from the Mayor’s Office of Trade and International Affairs attended the event. Community leaders and distinguished guests from countries around the world also took part.

Sheikh highlighted the longstanding connections between Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and the United States.

He stressed the role of diplomacy and community engagement in building stronger international relationships.

Sheikh also pointed to the importance of people-to-people ties in promoting greater understanding and cooperation.

“We look forward to working together and further strengthening the bonds of friendship among our communities,” he added.
