KMEDA Efforts Help Recover Customs-Held Mobile Phones

The Karachi Mobile and Electronics Dealers Association (KMEDA) has helped secure the return of a significant portion of mobile phones that Customs authorities had held during shipments through TCS courier service.
The recovery has brought relief to affected traders. Continuous follow-up and practical efforts by KMEDA officials helped move the matter forward.
KMEDA Leadership Pursues Traders’ Cases
KMEDA President Muhammad Minhaj Gulfam led the association’s efforts with members of his cabinet. Senior Chairman of the KMEDA Law and Order Committee Taha Mushtaq also played an active role in pursuing the case.
Through regular follow-up, the team engaged with the relevant authorities over the held shipments. Consequently, a substantial portion of the traders’ goods has now returned to their owners.
