The meeting was attended by senior officials including the DIG Administration, In-charge Welfare Branch (KPO), and the academy’s administrator Mushtaq Mian, along with other relevant officers and dignitaries.

On the occasion, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Karachi Police and Ayesha Bawany Academy to provide quality educational opportunities to deserving children of police personnel.

The agreement aims to facilitate children of martyred, deceased, and serving police employees by ensuring access to quality education and academic support.

Under the MoU, Ayesha Bawany Academy will offer various scholarships to eligible students at the start of each academic year.

The Welfare Department of Karachi Police will oversee the nomination, verification, and documentation process of deserving candidates to ensure transparency and effective implementation.

AIG Karachi Azad Khan termed the initiative a significant step towards the welfare of police personnel and their families, stating that it would help provide better educational opportunities for their children.
