Karachi: Syed Muhammad Nuhal Hashmi met with Wajhiuddin at the Governor House Karachi. The meeting was also attended by the university’s Vice Chancellor, Registrar, and faculty members.

During the meeting, Chancellor Wajhiuddin congratulated Governor Syed Muhammad Nuhal Hashmi on assuming the office of Governor Sindh. He also highlighted that Dr. Riazuddin had been authorized by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah to establish an educational institution in Jinnah’s name.
Chancellor Wajhiuddin noted that Jinnah University for Women is Pakistan’s first university dedicated to providing modern technological education to women across all fields.
Governor Sindh emphasized that providing equal educational opportunities for girls is an urgent need of the time and stressed that educated women play a key role in the country’s economic and social development.
The Chancellor also invited the Governor to participate as a guest of honor in the upcoming ceremony celebrating the 150th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam.
