Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N) and former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi gave the formula to improve the country’s situation in the current situation.
Addressing the closing session of the Asma Jahangir Conference in Lahore, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the only way to improve the conditions of Pakistan is that we all get out of our own interests.
He said that politicians who cannot respect themselves, how will they respect the country, today we have to put our politics behind and the country ahead.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi further said that I ask how the country can move forward when the country is hollow from the inside in every aspect including the economic situation. Even if you give 100% seats to any party today, the country will not run.
He said that the political, military, judicial and business leadership of the country have to sit together and decide whether to put the political interest first or the interest of the country.
The former prime minister also said that get out of these discussions about who will become the head of the army, which judge will be promoted, the only way to improve the situation is to get out of your own interests.
