The Diplomacy agenda for Pakistan will see Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar travel to Cairo on 21 June to attend the fourth meeting of the R-4 group, the Foreign Office said on Friday.
Ishaq Dar will participate in the high-level gathering at the invitation of Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr Badr Abdelatty, bringing together top diplomats from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Pakistan to discuss evolving regional developments.
According to the Foreign Office, the meeting will focus on issues related to peace, security, and stability in the region, while also reviewing progress made in earlier R-4 consultations.

Officials said the foreign ministers are expected to explore ways to deepen cooperation in areas of shared interest, including political coordination and regional conflict management.
During his visit, Ishaq Dar is also scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr Badr Abdelatty and meet Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The discussions will centre on strengthening Pakistan–Egypt relations and exchanging views on regional and international developments.
The Foreign Office said Pakistan attaches high importance to its ties with all R-4 partner states, describing the framework as a platform for sustained dialogue and coordinated diplomatic engagement.
The R-4 group has increasingly emerged as a consultation mechanism for key regional powers seeking common ground on Middle East crises and broader security challenges.
Earlier this year, Islamabad hosted a similar quadrilateral meeting, underscoring Pakistan’s active role in facilitating dialogue among regional stakeholders.
