KARACHI ( ) Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) President Faraz-ur-Rehman and other office bearers strongly condemned the attack on the well-known industrialist yesterday. He said that the situation is being made worse for the industrialists, the business is suffering from initially the economic crisis, and now even their life is not safe. In such a situation, it is impossible to do business in an atmosphere of fear. He said that it seems to be a nefarious conspiracy to first make the country economically unstable and then to force the investors to leave the country by threatening them with murderous attacks. Faraz-ur-Rehman said that law enforcement agencies should control this situation and provide protection to investors.

President KATI said that the culprits involved in the assassination attack should quickly be identified and given severe punishments so that investors and industrialists can end their fear and continue their business by trusting law enforcement agencies. Faraz-ur-Rehman said that if the accused were not brought to justice and like other cases, this case also drag by investigation and a long wait, then there is a fear that investors and industrialists would wind up their business and transfer their capital abroad so that theirs and the lives of their family be safe.
