WASHINGTON : OpenAI has introduced a special version of ChatGPT, which has been specially designed to enhance hacking capabilities. The aim of this release is to enable cybersecurity experts to identify potential attacks with the help of this system and develop better defenses against them. According to OpenAI, GPT- 5.4-Cyber is a model that has been ‘fine-tuned specifically with additional cyber capabilities and under relatively few restrictions’. Among other changes, the model is now less likely to refuse to find vulnerabilities that could be useful to hackers. This release of OpenAI comes shortly after Anthropic released its new model CloudMythos, which is largely of the same nature.
