Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has urged collective responsibility for environmental protection, warning that climate change and human activities are causing severe damage to the planet.

In his message on World Earth Day, the chief minister highlighted that rising temperatures, floods, and environmental hazards have already impacted millions of people. He cautioned that deforestation and the destruction of ecosystems pose serious long-term risks.
Murad Ali Shah emphasized that healthy ecosystems are fundamental to sustainable development and societal prosperity, stressing the need for harmony between human activity and nature.
He noted that the Sindh government is undertaking practical initiatives aimed at environmental conservation, including large-scale tree plantation, coastal protection measures, and forest restoration projects across the province.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment, he said promoting a greener and more sustainable environment remains a top priority, with continued efforts to ensure a clean and secure future for coming generations.
The chief minister also called on citizens to adopt environmentally responsible lifestyles, urging prudent use of energy and natural resources to collectively safeguard the planet.
