PSO Hosts KVTC Exhibition Celebrating Vocational Skills and Inclusion

Pakistan State Oil (PSO) hosted a student exhibition at its head office in collaboration with the Karachi Vocational Training Centre (KVTC).
The event highlighted the creativity, vocational skills and achievements of students with disabilities. It also reflected PSO’s focus on community development, social inclusion and employee engagement.
Students Showcase Handmade Products
The exhibition featured stalls displaying handmade products created by KVTC students. PSO employees had the opportunity to purchase the items and directly support the young artisans.
Students also guided employees through the different stages of their work. These interactions created opportunities for conversation and mutual learning.
The event gave employees a closer look at the students’ skills and personal journeys. It also helped promote greater understanding of vocational training and inclusion.
PSO Highlights Long-Term Partnership
PSO has worked with KVTC since 2018. The company said the partnership reflects its commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for differently-abled individuals.
Speaking at the event, Asif Khan, a member of the PSO CSR Trust, said the company believes in giving back to society through practical initiatives.

He added that the partnership aims to help differently-abled individuals develop skills, express their creativity and participate more fully in society.

Farheen Amir, Chief Operating Officer of KVTC, welcomed PSO’s continued support.
She said sustained corporate partnerships can give students greater confidence and provide them with tools for financial independence and social recognition.
Amir thanked PSO for supporting KVTC since 2018. She also said exhibitions of this kind show students that their efforts have value and that society recognises their abilities.
