Russia has announced the training of Pakistani rowing players. Russian Consul General Andrey Federov says that he will provide all possible support for the promotion of rowing in Pakistan. A ceremony was held in honor of the players. During the speech, Andrey Federov said, “There is no shortage of talent in Pakistan. Russian coaches will be invited to Pakistan for the training of players.” The Russian Consul General further said that the Russian team will also be seen in action in the Karachi Boat Club’s (KBC) Annual International Inter-School Regatta. Pakistanis will visit Russia next year as well.
Teams from KBC had also participated in a regatta in Moscow earlier this year and with their crew’s participation in Vladivostok, Pakistan and Russia have initiated a journey of fruitful collaboration through the sport of Rowing.
At the end of the ceremony, KBC’s President Mr Nadeem Kazmi and Captain of Boats Mr Arif Ikram also presented a commemorative shield to the Russian Consul.Russia has announced the training of Pakistani rowing players..
