Karachi: The Nonprofit Executives Summit 2023 was held at a local hotel in Karachi in commemoration of International NGO Day. “The NGO World Foundation” collaborated with the participating NGOs, staff, and volunteers to plan the Nonprofit Executives Summit 2023.
A large number of heads, leaders, and activists from non-profit social organizations participated in the summit and shared their ideas and observations in their respective social sectors.
This event was organized by The NGO World and was attended by the Minister for Social Welfare Sindh, Muhammad SajidJokhio. As part of his remarks, the minister emphasized the significant role played by non-profit organizations in bringing about positive social change and the commitment of the federal government to support the non-profit sector. Additionally, he appreciated the assistance provided by NGOs and social workers during the recent floods in Sindh.
The NGO Summit 2023 featured panel discussions, performance presentations, and networking opportunities. Participants had the opportunity to network with leaders from other social organizations, learn from experts in the field, and explore ways to address social challenges.
World NGO Day Goodwill Ambassador Zafar Iqbal in Pakistan addressed “We are thrilled to host such an inspiring gathering of non-profit executives and leaders. Nonprofit Executives Summit 2023 was a great opportunity to share and build connections, and celebrate our significant achievements. The nonprofits are continuously thriving and working for betterment around the world”.
Moreover, social workers who have contributed significantly to welfare the impoverished, received Social Work Encouragement, Recognition and Appreciate (SWERA) awards.
