The Core Committee of United Business Group (UBG) has elected Mohammad Hanif Gohar as Secretary General of UBG Sindh Region. Patron-in-Chief UBG Mr. S.M. Muneer, President-UBG Mr. Zubair Tufail, Chairman UBG-Sindh Mr. Khalid Tawab, Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan, Abdul Sami Khan, Mumtaz Ali Sheikh, Mazhar Ali Nasir and other leaders and members of UBG congratulated Hanif Gohar on his new assignment and hoped that he will bring about revolution in UBG which is the biggest group of business community.
Hanif Gohar is experienced and is well known in Pakistan’s business circle. Hanif Gohar, is also known as a philanthropist across Pakistan running several welfare societies, hospitals, educational institutions and many charitable organizations. He has also served as Chairman ABAD and Sr. Vice President of FPCCI. He has also led trade delegations to several countries and contributed substantially in strengthening trade and economic relations with friendly countries.
Besides, Mr. Gohar is working in collaboration with Dr. Adeeb-ul-Hassan Rizvi and Lt. Gen(R) Mustafa Khan, Chairman Al Mustafa Welfare Trust, and Haji Hanif Tayyab, Chairman Al Mustafa Welfare Society for construction of charitable hospitals in Karachi and Mansehra.
Hanif Gohar thanked the Core Committee for the confidence shown in him and expressed his determination to serve UBG and entire business community with zeal, devotion and dedication. He further added that his entire attention is focused on the people affected by recent floods.
In a separate message to the Trade Bodies and business community, he said that UBG would soon launch campaign against the bogus trade bodies which have badly damaged the business community and legitimate licensed trade bodies.
