KARACHI – Meezan Bank, Pakistan’s first and largest Islamic Bank has been recognized with Gold Award – Islamic Finance Entity of the Year by Islamic Finance Forum of South Asia (IFFSA) in recognition of its immense contributions to the Islamic Banking and Finance Industry in South Asia, at the 5th Awards Ceremony of the Islamic Finance Forum of South Asia held online.
Meezan Bank has also been recognized with the following IFFSA awards for demonstrating the best overall performance over the period 2019-2020:
- Gold Award – Islamic Bank of the Year
- Gold Award – Islamic Investment Bank of the Year
- Gold Award – Islamic Finance Advisory Services Provider of the Year
- Silver Award – Islamic Finance Deal of the Year
The awards ceremony was part of a four-day event comprising a quiz competition on Islamic Finance, an Islamic Finance conference and the awards ceremony.
IFFSA Awards are given to Islamic Banking & Finance industry players that are recognized for outstanding performances across the South Asian region.
