Karachi: Dinner co-hosted by UNDP & LADIESFUND of 20 of the most dynamic women in Pakistan and in particular the LADIESFUND 2024 Women of Inspiration for a discussion and dialogue.
UNDP Pakistan partnered with Dawood Global Foundation to jointly host the LADIESFUND 2024 Women of Inspiration and past Women of Inspiration and LADIESFUND winners for an interactive dinner and networking.
“It is truly a pleasure to bring together such exceptional women and dear friends from all sectors to this gathering, with the purpose of celebrating each other,” said Tara Uzra Dawood, President, Dawood Global Foundation, “and we congratulate you and thank you for all you do, and in particular, congratulate the 2024 LADIESFUND Women of Inspiration.”
“It was a pleasure to co-host this dinner in honour of the LADIESFUND 2024 Women of Inspiration,” said Van Nyugen, Deputy Regional Representative UNDP. “Sharing a meal and networking with some of the most dynamic women of Sindh was a proud moment for the UNDP.”
Spotlighted at the gathering were the 11LADIESFUND Women of Inspiration 2024: Atiya Khan, Film Director and former Supermodel, Ayesha Ashraf Jangda (Shariah Banker), Aysha Baqir (author), Baakh Pirzada (news anchor), Dr. Huma Baqai (Rector of MiTE), Fatimeh Fifi Haroon (senior journalist formerly with BBC), Khursheed Kotwal (Chartered Accountant), Nina Kashif (Film Producer), Sabina Khatri (social worker), Shama Askari (performing artist and translator), and Shanaz Ramzi (PR guru). Also, spotted were Shahnaz Wazir Ali (Former Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan), Nargis Rahman (Chairperson, Pakistan Women’s Foundation for Peace, and Convener, Karachi Citizens’ Forum, Masarrat Misbah (Founder, Masarrat Misbah Makeup & Depilex), Ameena Saiyid (MD, Lightstone Publisher), Sayeeda Leghari (Owner, Sukkur Beverages (Pvt) Ltd Pakistan), Ayhan Mustafa Bhutto (Additional Secretary, Environment, Climate Change & Coastal Development Department (ECC&CDD), Govt.
