Gold prices in Pakistan opened the new week on a positive note, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola climbing by Rs800, reaching Rs350,200 on Monday.
Alongside this, the rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold also saw an increase of Rs686, now priced at Rs300,240 in the local market.
This surge comes after a significant drop of Rs1,600 per tola on Saturday, when gold had slipped to Rs349,400. Today’s price rebound marks the resumption of an upward trend, in line with both domestic and global market movements.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the recent rise mirrors the global bullion market, where gold prices rose by $8 per ounce, bringing the international rate to $3,282 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
