Eid ul Adha is a religious festival of Muslims also known as The Sacrifice Festival, Bari Eid or Eid e Qurban. It is celebrated all over the world and was started when Hazrat Ibrahim wished to sacrifice his son Ismail in the love of Allah, as he was guided in his dream.
He even told about his dream to his son who he was going to sacrifice and his son was feeling proud to be sacrificed in the love/route/way of Allah. So when Hazrat Ibrahim took his son along with him to sacrifice Shaitan tempted him to not to listen Allah, but he threw pebbles on him even this act is copied by the Muslims during Hajj.
He closed his eyes and moved his axe to sacrifice his son, by the order of Allah his son was switched by a lamb and that lamb was sacrificed and from that day Muslims copy this act of sacrificing a goat, a sheep, a camel, cow or bull in the whole world on Eid e Qurban.
The meat of any of the animal which had being sacrificed is distributed to the poor people. Eid ul Adha takes place from 10 Zilhajj to 13 Zilhajj.
Animals are not human beings but the creatures of Allah, they have right to be treated well. As children are so interested and excited to spend time with their animals but we should look after to the children as they should not tease or make them run or make the animals as their toys.
Other than children this is one of the things we should not do that is some people are so interested in ANIMAL FIGHTS, they make animals fight with each other especially in rural areas that’s also not good.
Those animals are just our guests for some days so we should treat them well so that Allah accepts our sacrifice in the love of him. A very Happy Eid to all the Muslims out there!
