easypaisa, KTrade Partner to Simplify Digital Stock Market Investments
Islamabad, September 8, 2026: easypaisa digital bank and KTrade have partnered to make stock market investment more accessible to millions of Pakistanis.

The collaboration allows users to open a Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) investment account instantly through the easypaisa app.
The initiative was formally unveiled at a ceremony in Islamabad last week. Senior representatives from key financial institutions attended the event.
These included Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) Commissioner Muzaffar Mirza. Naveed Qazi, CEO of the National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL), also attended.
Badiuddin Akber, CEO of the Central Depository Company (CDC), was among the participants. Senior officials from easypaisa and KTrade were also present.
PSX Account in 10 Minutes
Under the partnership, easypaisa users can open a KTrade PSX investment account in about 10 minutes.
The process is fully digital. It removes much of the paperwork and traditional onboarding barriers associated with opening brokerage accounts.
As a result, more Pakistanis can gain direct access to the country’s capital markets.
The companies said the initiative supports financial inclusion. It also aims to make investment opportunities more accessible to people who have traditionally remained outside formal investment channels.
Record Single-Day Account Openings
The partnership recorded an immediate impact.
According to the companies, easypaisa and KTrade achieved the highest single-day investment account onboarding volume in PSX history.
The milestone sets a new benchmark for digital investment and wealth creation in Pakistan.
Speaking at the ceremony, easypaisa digital bank President and CEO Jahanzeb Khan said the company’s goal is to expand access to financial opportunities.
He said the partnership with KTrade extends easypaisa’s financial ecosystem beyond payments and banking.
The initiative allows users to participate in Pakistan’s capital markets through a simple and fully digital experience.
Khan also thanked the SECP, NCCPL and CDC for supporting the digitisation of brokerage account onboarding.
He said the effort could help millions more Pakistanis enter the formal investment landscape.
