Karachi (25-06-2025) : A delegation comprising notable religious and legal personalities visited the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi to express unwavering solidarity with the people and leadership of Iran amidst the current regional tensions.
The delegation included Chairman of the International Lawyers Forum Nasir Ahmed Advocate, Mohallan Muhammad Amin Ansari; Founder President of Muttahida Ulema Mahaz, Molana Intizar Thanvi; along with other distinguished members. During the visit, Molana Intizar Thanvi offered prayers for the military and civilian martyrs of Iran and for the continued development, peace, and prosperity of the Iranian nation.
The delegation paid rich tribute to the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Hosseini Khamenei, commending his exemplary leadership and strategic acumen in confronting global challenges.
On behalf of the Pakistani people, Nasir Ahmed, Chairman of the International Lawyers Forum, handed over a formal message of solidarity to the Consul General of Iran. The message conveyed that: “The hearts of the peoples of Pakistan and Iran beat in unison. As a neighboring nation, we stand in full support of Iran and strongly condemn the recent aggression by Israel and its allies. Through the Iranian Consulate in Karachi, we wish to assure the people of Iran that they are not alone during this time. We also strongly denounce the inaction of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the United Nations, the UN Security Council, and Islamic countries maintaining friendly relations with Israel. We urge all Islamic nations to immediately suspend diplomatic and economic ties with Israel.”
In response, H.E. Vahed Asghari, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the support extended by the Pakistani delegation. He stated, “The people of Pakistan are well aware of the conspiracies of Zionism and the manipulative role of the Western media. The protest rallies held in Karachi in support of Iran are a testimony to the deep-rooted ties between our two nations. We sincerely thank the delegation for their visit and their solidarity.” The visit concluded on a note of mutual respect and reaffirmation of brotherly ties between the people of Pakistan and Iran.
