Jhal Magsi, May 19, 2025 — In a meaningful initiative to enhance mobility support for patients in public hospitals across Balochistan, Dawood Global Foundation (DGF), in collaboration with Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), distributed 100 wheelchairs to government hospitals in Jhal Magsi and Dera Bugti.
A special wheelchair distribution ceremony was held at DHQ Ghandawa Hospital, Jhal Magsi, attended by senior representatives from DGF and district health officials from Jhal Magsi. This effort forms part of DGF’s broader commitment to distribute 10,000 wheelchairs to deserving individuals across Pakistan. The wheelchairs provided under this initiative aim to significantly improve patient care, mobility, and comfort for individuals with disabilities and mobility challenges in these districts.
Representing Dawood Global Foundation was Mr. Hubdar Ali, while the event was further dignified by the presence of Dr. Mansoor Ahmed Khoso – Medical Superintendent, DHQ Ghandawa Hospital, Jhal Magsi. Their participation reflected a strong public-private partnership dedicated to uplifting healthcare in underserved regions.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Hubdar Ali reaffirmed DGF’s commitment to supporting public healthcare and emphasized how access to essential medical equipment like wheelchairs can positively impact the recovery and dignity of patients. He extended heartfelt gratitude to OGDCL, particularly to MD/CEO Mr. Ahmed Hayat, for their support and collaboration.
