CBD Punjab Accelerates NSIT City Development as Celestia Tower Nears Completion

CBD Punjab has accelerated development work across NSIT City, Pakistan’s first and largest IT city, as major infrastructure projects and the Celestia IT & Office Tower move closer to completion.

The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), also known as Central Business District Punjab, is advancing construction across several key areas of the project.

Officials said teams are working to meet established project timelines while maintaining construction and quality standards.

Infrastructure Work Moves Ahead

Under Infrastructure Package One, workers continue plastering work at the main entrance gate. They are also installing Aluminum Composite Panel (ACP) sheets.

Meanwhile, teams have moved closer to completing tile installation and cobblestone work. These activities cover the central road median and public realm areas.

The ongoing work forms part of the wider infrastructure development planned for NSIT City.

Celestia Tower Reaches Major Milestone

The Celestia IT & Office Tower has reached an important stage in its construction.

Workers are now installing steel reinforcement for the final slab casting on the 20th floor. At the same time, construction teams continue glazing and structural glass installation.

Workers are also fitting ACP sheets across the building’s exterior facade. These activities are helping advance the tower toward its next construction phase.

MEP Work Continues Across Floors

Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) activities are also progressing across the tower.

The project team has successfully completed lighting system testing on the ground and first floors. Meanwhile, teams continue HVAC integration and electrical installation work on other floors.

As construction progresses, these systems will support the tower’s planned office and technology facilities.

Roads and Parks Under Development

In parallel, CBD Punjab continues work on internal road networks and public spaces.

Teams are carrying out ground levelling and land preparation at Park One and Park Two. They are following updated layout designs as development moves forward.

Work on embankments is also progressing alongside other site development activities.

Focus on Quality and Timely Completion

CBD Punjab Chief Executive Officer Imran Amin said the authority remains focused on meeting international quality standards and project timelines.

“Our top priority is to execute every project in alignment with international quality standards and strict project timelines,” Amin said.

He added that timely completion would help provide modern facilities for investors, technology companies and citizens.

According to CBD Punjab, the NSIT City development forms part of its broader efforts to support economic growth, innovation and modern urban development in Punjab.

The authority said it will continue monitoring major projects and accelerating high-impact infrastructure work across the province.
