In his presidential address, Professor Sahar Ansari stated, This book encapsulates the socio-political realities of Khalid Hamidi’s era. In today’s time of apathy and indifference, literature like Hamidi’s becomes a necessity. He said: ‘It’s not enough to see what happens around us, it’s essential to think and speak as well.’ Khalid Hamidi truly mastered the art of verse.
Ambareen Haseeb Ambar highlighted Hamidi’s influence on the younger generation, mentioning how his work even aids in developing proficiency in English.” His poetry encourages readers not merely to dream but to reflect and awaken themselves. It is poetry that questions, ignites human consciousness, and fosters social awareness.”
