Istanbul: Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held a bilateral meeting today in Istanbul with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mr. Muhammad Ishaq Dar, on the sidelines of their participation in the 51st session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
During this meeting, the two ministers discussed the latest developments in the aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran and emphasized the need to enhance inter-coordination on this matter within the Security Council, with the aim of enabling this UN body to fulfill its responsibilities in the field of maintaining peace and security by devoting a political and peaceful approach based on the principles and purposes of the United Nations.
