YOUNG LYARI BOXING CLUB WON THE KARACHI TALENT HUNT BOXING CHAMPIONSHIP.

I AM VERY HAPPY TO SEE WOMEN BOXERS COMPETING, DR. AFTAB IMAM.

Karachi (Sports Report) Chief Executive Officer State Life Insurance Karachi Dr. Aftab Imam has said that
he was very happy to see the competition between women boxers in Lyari and was surprised to hear
that these boxers won medals in Islamic Games and Safe Games. The victory kept Pakistan’s green
crescent flag aloft. He was speaking at Ustad Muhammad Ali Qambrani Boxing Arena Kukri Sports
Complex Lyari organized by Karachi Division Boxing Association with the support of Sindh Boxing
Association to the Boxers and officials in the closing ceremony of the one-day Karachi Talent Hunt Boys
and Girls Championship. He was speaking. On this occasion, he also announced the organization of a
boxing tournament soon by his department. On this occasion, Provincial Minister Sports PRO Mr. Yasin,
Sindh Boxing Association President Asghar Baloch, Secretary Abdul Razzaq and former international
boxer Muhammad Amin. And Adnan Baba was present. While the duties of referee judges were
performed by Murad Bakhsh, Abdul Rasheed, Fida Hussain, Adnan Afridi, Abdul Waheed Darwish,
Jameel Khan, Miss Samia Baloch and Sharaf Naz. More than 80 boys and girls boxers participated in the
one-day competition. Young Lyari Boxing Club won 3 golds and Lyari Labor took second position with
two golds. The results are: In 48 kg Shahida beat Alisha 3-2, in 50 kg Samreen beat Amina 2-1, in 52 kg
Sana beat Noorin 3-0, in 54 kg Hasan Bano beat Rabia Noor 3. From -0, Rizwana beat Rabia 2-1 in 57 kg,
Akansha beat Sajida 3-0 in 60 kg, Junaid beat Samiullah 2-1 in boys class, Umid Ali beat Samiullah 2-1 in
51 kg. Kifayatullah 2-1, in 54 kg Pir Bakhsh defeated Zakaria 3-0, in 57 kg Abdul Haseeb defeated
Hamdan 2-1, in 60 kg Meraj defeated Jawad 3-0. A large number of boxing fans were present on the
occasion.
