We need to reshape our perception of how we view women’s participation in society’s growth.

ICPH highlighting Pakistan’s strong, and poor’s ambitious, resilient women. Ensuring broad-based inclusion of women’s rights in every sphere and at all levels is one of the key priorities of our organization.

PAKISTAN: Today, on International Women’s Day, Happy Women’s Day to our colleagues and all the women around the world.  I want to say thank you to all the women who have expanded possibilities for others by challenging norms and breaking down barriers; sometimes by just showing up. Thank you for your bravery, leadership and tenacity. Your hard work, dedication, and contributions are truly appreciated and valued. Imagine a gender equal world. A world that’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive. Together we can forge women’s equality. We are empowering millions of women across the country through equal opportunities and support.

Ambassador at Large for Global Peace & Human Rights Imam Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui, Chairman Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) said that today, we join the international community in celebrating International Women’s Day. Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH)fully supports this year’s theme of International Women’s Day, In a guest of Honor talked with media with Consul General France, Consul General Japan, Consul General Thailand and Vietnam at 14th LADIESFUND Women’s Awards 2023 Pakistan organized by Tara Uzra Dawood Global Foundation at Sindh Governor House Karachi. The objective of celebrating the International Women’s Day is to break the bias, stereotypes and discrimination, and to celebrate a world that’s diverse, equitable and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. It is an occasion to celebrate the progress made in empowering women, and to reaffirm our collective resolve for redoubling efforts to further advance respect for women’s rights. He said ICPH celebrate the achievements and progress of women around the world and call on governments and activists to continue their efforts to make the digital world safer, more inclusive, and more equitable.

Ambassador Imam Allama Ahsan Siddiqui said that Violence against women is a significant issue in Pakistan, with domestic violence, honor killings, and rape all too common. The country has made some progress in passing laws to protect women’s rights, but implementation and enforcement of these laws remain weak.

He said that still a long way to go to reach gender equality women’s striving towards giving a fair share for women will make possible sustainable peace and development.

Islam has given much respect and freedom to women. Islam gave a comprehensive charter of rights and duties of women when there was no concept of women rights. Islam elevated status of women through economic security; gave a share in inheritance; protected rights as a wife, sister, and daughter; and checked exploitation, excesses, and torture.

May we recognize them, protect them, listen to them, and celebrate them. He said that Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) celebrates International Women’s Day, by recognizing the invaluable contributions of women in society. We remain committed to creating an environment that fosters gender equality and empowers women to achieve their goals. ICPH strives to contribute to a world that’s diverse, equitable, & inclusive. Together we can forge women’s equality. Collectively we can all Embrace Equity.

Imam Allama Ahsan said we are gathered here today to celebrate and commemorate “International Women’s Day” and what could be a better way to celebrate than to provide a prestigious platform to the women of this country to showcase their talents, ideas, innovations and their potential for meaningful activism to achieve gender equality. Strong Women leads to Strong Society. Today, they are playing imp role in Law, Media, Politics, and Health and in Different Sectors. We have made significant advancements in empowering women, economically and socially, including through progressive legislative, policy, institutional and administrative measures. Ensuring broad-based inclusion of women’s rights in every sphere and at all levels is one of the key priorities of our organization. At the international forum, Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) Pakistan’s voice has always resonated in favors of women empowerment and gender equality.

Ambassador at Large for Global Peace & Human Rights Imam Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui, Chairman Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) said that the road to women empowerment and gender equality is a long one. Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) direction, commitment and actions are clear. We will continue to resolutely pursue the full realization of women’s rights, mindful of the challenges, but resolved to further build on our achievements. Today we resolve that we will work to empower our women and provide. Appreciation and Salute to all Females.

Let’s celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of women in Pakistan and around the world. May we continue to break barriers, shatter stereotypes, and empower each other to reach new heights.

Let us celebrate the struggle, resilience, strength and power of women, all over the world and particularly in Pakistan. Keep striving for the wings which will let you fly and inspiring those around you.

Let’s continue to uplift and amplify the voices of game-changing women making a difference in climate, religious, health, education, business, community, tech, and policy across Pakistan and the world.

Let’s Embrace Equity and build a better world for women everywhere.

Let’s give them more opportunities to shine on!
