New generation to prioritize Pakistan and take the country forward, President KATI Johar .Qandhari.

Karachi: Sindh’s Minister of Local Government, Saeed Ghani, emphasized that individuals spreading hatred within the country are not true well-wishers of Pakistan. Speaking at a flag hoisting ceremony organized by the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) on the occasion of Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day, Ghani expressed concern that despite the nation’s long-standing history, the vision and mission of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah have yet to be fully realized.
The event was attended by a large gathering, including KATI President Johar Qandhari, Senior Vice President Nighat Awan, Vice President Muslim Mohammadi, former presidents and chairpersons Danish Khan, Sheikh Umar Rehan, Gulzar Feroze, Ehshamuddin, SM Yahya, Farhan-ur-Rehman, and Deputy Commissioner Korangi Masood Bhutto, among others.
In his address, Saeed Ghani acknowledged the challenges faced by the country but highlighted that every
community still celebrates Independence Day with great enthusiasm. He noted that divisions within the nation based on nationality, language, color, race, and religion continue to hinder Pakistan’s progress. “We must embrace the idea of one nationality—being Pakistani—if we are to achieve the development and prosperity, we all desire,” he stated. Ghani warned that the persistence of these divisions poses a significant threat to the country’s future.
The minister further underscored the vast resources Pakistan possesses, emphasizing the importance of a
unified vision for the country’s future. Citing the example of athlete Arshad Nadeem, who recently won a gold medal despite facing numerous challenges, Ghani argued that success is possible regardless of one’s
background. “Arshad Nadeem’s achievement proves that there is no difference when it comes to color or race; what matters is determination and hard work,” he added.
Earlier in the ceremony, KATI President Johar Qandhari reflected on Pakistan’s history, noting that the country has endured two major wars and, despite the challenges, has emerged as a nuclear power with the sixth largest army in the world. He condemned the ongoing propaganda against the Pakistan Army, labeling it as an act of enmity against the nation. “It is crucial for the new generation to prioritize Pakistan and take the country forward,” Qandhari asserted.
Qandhari also highlighted the pivotal role of youth in Pakistan’s development, urging them to take responsibility for the country’s future. He called for national unity to overcome the economic and financial crises currently facing the country. “On this Independence Day, our leaders and political parties must put Pakistan first, set aside their differences, and formulate a policy for economic development to steer the nation out of these challenging times,” he said.
President KATI stressed the importance of investors and industrialists acting as patriots by investing in
Pakistan rather than transferring capital abroad. He argued that such investments are crucial for the country’s path to development and prosperity.
