Karachi: With the joint initiative of Pakistan Beverage Limited and DHA, Farhan Shaheed Park (Sea View Rd) has given a makeover by adding a play area for kids made from recycled plastic. PBL and PepsiCo envision a world where plastic need never become waste so with the purpose of creating awareness on recycling among the kids, thisplay area has been created which is made up of 2400Kg recycled plastic with the help of Green Earth Pakistan.
The inauguration ceremony of the play area was attended by the higher managements of Pakistan Beverage Limited and PepsiCo while the play area was inaugurated by chief guests, Mr. Eugene Willemsen (CEO AMESA PepsiCo.), Mr. Yasin H. Kassam (CEO & MD Pakistan Beverage Limited) Beverage pioneer in Pakistan having more than 50 years of beverage experience and Colonel Sajjad Ahsan (Director Horticulture DHA).Other members of PBL and PepsiCo leadership team including Mr. Zaid Yasin. Mr. Nusair Siraj Teli, Mr. Qasim Zaid, Mr. Aamir Sheikh, Mr. Furqan Ahmed Syed, Mr. Azeem Ansari, Mr. Dean Sheehan, Mr. Agha Muhammad Khan & Mr. Saad Munawar attended the event.
