Prime Minister Imran Khan has said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf believes in transfer of powers to grass root level, which is only possible by strengthening the local government.
Chairing a meeting regarding local government He said empowered people in a local bodies system can be the best form of the government.
Imran Khan said people should take their decisions by their own, which is not possible without ensuring a strong local government system in Pakistan.  local government system will be made functional on the pattern of government’s experience in KP.
Imran Khan said people will be strengthened by empowering the local bodies system in country.
A delegation of Lahore Chamber of Commerce called on PM
During the meeting, the delegation presented a cheque of rupees 1 million to the PM Imran Khan for Dam Fund , discussed mutual interest.
