Karachi : Chairman of National Business Group Pakistan, President Pakistan Businessmen and Intellectuals Forum, and All Karachi Industrial Alliance, and former provincial minister Mian Zahid Hussain said on Monday that the problem of kacha robbers has gotten worse.

The dacoits are damaging the economy, the reputation of the country, and the aviation industry, he said.

Mian Zahid Hussain said that Pakistan might see a cut in the airlines’ flights from other countries coming to Pakistan.

Talking to the business community, the veteran business leader said that while the lives of the people have become tormented due to the bandits, the aviation industry is also suffering.

The dacoits of kacha have become very active on social media, in which they can be seen armed with rockets, missiles, and anti-aircraft weapons. The presence of anti-aircraft armaments with them has caused a wave of concern all over the world.

The foreign airlines whose flights come to Pakistan are worried that the bandits may target their planes and cause heavy damage.

The business leader said that the state of the country’s aviation industry is not good. Many countries used to give warnings to travelers about PIA, but now the passengers have also been deprived of the facility of insurance.

In case of an incident, the travelers will not get any compensation. At this time, a large number of flights are being canceled. If the situation remains the same, the number of foreign airlines flying to Pakistan may decrease.

Mian Zahid Hussain said that the main highways are not safe due to the bandits, which are very harmful to the people and trade.
He said that strict action should also be taken against the politicians and landed aristocracy who are supporting the outlaws.

He said that due to the GSP plus status, duty-free entry into the European market is allowed for most Pakistani products. Still, despite this, Pakistan’s exports to European countries have started to decrease.

Pakistan’s exports to European countries decreased by 6.89% in the first eight months of this financial year, which was 5.812 billion dollars in the same period last year.

The exports have decreased from 5.812 billion dollars to 5.411 billion dollars. The fall in exports is due to the decrease in demand for Pakistani goods in Western, Southern, and Northern Europe, which should be noted, he demanded.
