ISLAMABAD – Federal Minister Sheikh Rashid hinted at quitting politics. Talking on a program on a private TV channel, he said that our Nala Lei project is very fast, all projects are accelerating, I am worried about Nala Lei, Sheikh Rashid Asked if the Nala Lei project would be completed before the election, Sheikh Rashid said that it would be a great thing if the project was started before the election. It would take two years to complete the project.
Will Sheikh Rashid said, “This is my 15th ministry. I want this project to be completed. I will sit at home with dignity.” The anchor asked, “Does that mean you want to retire from politics?” ?
Sheikh Rashid said that if the Nala Lei project is completed then I will retire from politics. Answering the question about participating in the 2023 elections, he said that I will contest the elections because the opposition keeps on messing up.
If you give me a dignified path, if the project for Nala is completed, I will leave politics in a dignified manner.
It may be recalled that last month, Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed called on Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar and discussed the general law and order situation in the province including mutual interest and political issues.
