Karachi : The annual board of directors meeting of the Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus was held in which social and welfare projects and annual performances were reviewed. On this occasion, President Junaid Hamid, President-elect Fawad Shaikh, Past President M. Ali Haider, Health Chair Dr. Khalid Shaikh, Media Chair Syed Turab Shah, Aslam Khaliq,Javed Zadi and other members were also present.
Addressing the meeting, Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus President Junaid Hamid said that Rotary Nexus has always been active for the betterment of the society and in the future, priority will be given to education, health, clean water and community development projects
He appreciated the efforts of all the board members and expressed his determination that with joint efforts, we will be able to carry out more effective measures. On this occasion, President-elect Fawad Sheikh said that we are determined to further expand the services of the Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus. He said that in the coming year, the club’s welfare projects will be given a new dimension, especially in the fields of education, health and women’s welfare. While appreciating the guidance of the current leadership, he expressed his determination that through teamwork, we will continue to bring positive change in the society.
On the occasion of the meeting, Past President M. Ali Haider said that the Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus has rendered outstanding services in the field of welfare over the past several years, which is the result of the hard work and sincerity of the entire team.
He said that he is happy that the leadership of the club is now in the hands of talented and determined individuals who will take this mission further. He congratulated the current and nominated presidents on their Expressing his best wishes while assuring full support, Health Chair Dr. Khalid Sheikh said on this occasion that the steps taken by the Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus in the health sector are also commendable.
He said that cooperation between the government and welfare institutions for the welfare of the community is the need of the hour, and the Health Department will provide all possible support in all such projects.
He appreciated the efforts of the club and expressed the hope that this partnership will create more opportunities for public service On the occasion of the meeting, Media Chair Syed Turab Shah said that it is the important responsibility of the media to highlight the welfare projects and community services of the Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus.
He said that publicity of positive activities not only raises awareness among the public but also encourages more people to join the journey of service to the people. He assured that the club’s activities will be presented in a meaningful manner. Social media, print and electronic platforms will be used extensively for this.
