Road to Liberty Brings America’s Founding Story to Karachi Students
The interactive Founders Museum exhibition at Lincoln Corner Karachi introduces Pakistani students and educators to America’s history and founding ideals

KARACHI, August 27, 2026: The U.S. Consulate General Karachi has launched the Road to Liberty exhibition at Lincoln Corner Karachi, bringing an interactive digital and travelling museum experience to Pakistani youth, students and educators.
The Founders Museum exhibition celebrates the founding of the United States and its 250 years of independence. It explores key historical figures and ideas linked to the country’s founding, including life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
U.S. Consul General Charles Goodman opened the exhibition and highlighted the continuing importance of these principles.
“The story of America’s founding centers on liberty and natural rights,” Goodman said, noting that these ideas continue to shape the country’s journey 250 years later.
Interactive History Comes to Karachi
Visitors can use QR codes to access historical content directly on their mobile phones.
The exhibition also combines technology with educational activities. EducationUSA advisers conducted virtual tours of U.S. universities named after several of the Founding Fathers featured in the exhibition.
As a result, visitors can explore both American history and aspects of the country’s higher education system through the programme.
Exhibition to Travel Across Sindh
The Road to Liberty exhibition will move to educational and cultural institutions across the U.S. consular district through December 2026.
The programme will include stops in Karachi and Hyderabad. Each venue will host activities such as guided tours, guest lectures or panel discussions.
Meanwhile, the travelling format will allow more students and educators to engage with the exhibition beyond its Karachi launch.
Lincoln Corners Promote Learning and Dialogue
Lincoln Corners operate through partnerships between the U.S. Mission to Pakistan and local universities, public libraries and cultural institutions.
These resource centres provide free educational resources, English-language programmes and opportunities for cross-cultural dialogue.
The latest exhibition adds an interactive historical experience to these educational initiatives, giving Pakistani audiences another opportunity to explore American history and culture.
