Laam Fashion Week returns to Lahore with Pakistani designers and a global digital audience.

Laam Fashion Week is set to return to Lahore from October 23 to 26, bringing Pakistani designers back to the runway as the event seeks to connect local fashion with audiences and buyers around the world.

The second edition follows the debut event, which featured 37 designers and attracted interest from customers across more than 100 countries, according to the organisers.

The fashion week is built around a digital-first approach that links the runway directly with retail. Collections are made available to customers on LAAM’s digital platform immediately after they are presented during live-streamed shows.

The model allows Pakistani designers to showcase their work to an international audience while giving viewers the opportunity to purchase or book pieces without waiting for traditional retail launches.

Runway meets online retail

LAAM said its first fashion week was streamed in more than 120 countries, providing participating designers with access to an audience far beyond Pakistan.

Collections were made available for immediate purchase or booking through the LAAM app. Couture orders also included free shipping, according to the organisers.

The approach aims to shorten the gap between fashion presentation and consumer access, creating a direct link between designers, their collections and potential buyers.

For Pakistan’s fashion industry, the format also offers a potential route towards expanding the country’s creative economy by giving local brands greater access to international customers.

Major Pakistani designers featured

The inaugural edition brought together a wide range of established names from Pakistan’s fashion industry.

The participating designers included Ali Xeeshan, Amir Adnan, Ammar Belal, Deepak Perwani, Élan, Fahad Hussayn, Feeha Jamshed, Generation, HSY, Huma Adnan, Hussain Rehar, Karma, Khaadi, Mahgul and Meeras by Nilofer Shahid.

Other designers included Mohsin Naveed Ranjha, Nomi Ansari, Rizwan Beyg, Saira Shakira, Sania Maskatiya, Shamaeel Ansari, Teejays, The House of Kamiar Rokni, Wardha Saleem, Zaheer Abbas and Zainab Chottani.

Their participation reflected the broad range of established fashion houses and independent designers contributing to Pakistan’s contemporary fashion landscape.

Registrations opened for second edition

In June, LAAM issued a call for designers and opened registrations for those interested in participating in the second edition.

The upcoming event is expected to build on the international reach established during the inaugural fashion week, with the digital platform remaining central to how collections are presented and sold.

By combining a live runway with immediate digital purchasing, Laam Fashion Week is positioning itself as more than a conventional fashion showcase. Its organisers hope the format can help Pakistani designers reach new markets while giving international consumers easier access to local fashion.

The October event will once again put Lahore at the centre of a fashion programme designed to connect Pakistan’s creative talent with a global audience.
