Eight Pakistani exhibitors showcase fabrics and yarn products at Intertextile Shanghai 2026.

KARACHI, August 27, 2026: Pakistan strengthened its position in the global textile market as eight local companies showcased fabrics and yarns at Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics and Yarn Expo Autumn 2026.

The three-day exhibition ran from August 25 to 27 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai.

The Pakistani exhibitors used the event to present their products, meet international buyers and develop new business connections. Their participation also highlighted the country’s growing role in the global apparel and textile supply chain.

Eight Pakistani Companies Showcase Products

Four Pakistani companies exhibited at Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics Autumn.

Azgard Nine, Kohinoor Mills, Mahmood Textile Mills and Diamond Denim by Sapphire presented a range of premium apparel fabrics.

Meanwhile, four other companies participated in Yarn Expo Autumn. Abtex International, Ihsan Cotton Products, NV Tex Sourcing and Xiamen Naseem Trade Co. showcased yarn products to international sourcing professionals.

Together, the exhibitors highlighted Pakistan’s manufacturing strength and the diversity of its textile and yarn industries.

Sustainability Takes Centre Stage

Sustainability remained a major theme at the 2026 autumn edition.

The Econogy Hub brought buyers and visitors closer to verified sustainable suppliers. It also featured natural, bio-based and recycled textile solutions.

In addition, Econogy Talk and the Econogy Tour encouraged discussions about sustainable alternatives.

The exhibition also focused on performance textiles and digital transformation. These trends are increasingly shaping the future of the global textile industry.

Thousands of Exhibitors Attend Shanghai Event

Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics featured more than 3,500 exhibitors from 30 countries and regions.

The event presented new products, market trends and business opportunities across the apparel textile value chain.

Yarn Expo Autumn, meanwhile, attracted around 600 exhibitors from 14 countries and regions.

As a result, both events provided Pakistani companies with access to a broad international sourcing network.

Pakistani Exhibitors Seek New Markets

Muhammad Akmal, Manager Marketing at Mahmood Textile Mills, described the company’s participation as a positive experience.

He said the exhibition provided an opportunity to showcase new textile products and meet international buyers.

“We received a positive response from visitors,” Akmal said, while also highlighting the networking opportunities at the event.

The participation of Pakistani exhibitors could help strengthen international trade relationships and create new opportunities for textile exports.

Moreover, their presence in Shanghai showcased Pakistan’s capabilities to buyers seeking competitive and diverse textile suppliers.
