KARACHI: Commissioner Syed Hassan Naqvi has announced an extension of the ban on three-seater and five-seater rickshaws on 20 key roads in Karachi for an additional two months.
The restriction aims to ease traffic congestion and improve road safety across major routes. The roads where the ban remains in effect include Sharea Faisal, Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam, II Chundrigar Road, Shershah Suri Road, Shaheed-e-Millat Road, Abdullah Haroon Road, Dau Talwar Shahrah-e-Firdous, Stadium Road, Sir Shah Sulaiman Road, Rashid Minhas Road, Mauripur Road, Shahrah-e-Pakistan, Hub River Road, Quaidabad to Landhi 89 route, University Road, Korangi Road, Orangi Road, and Superhighway.
Authorities have reiterated that traffic regulations will be strictly enforced during this period to ensure compliance.
