Karachi Ramsha Khan, the beautiful rising star, is all set to showcase a completely different avatar in her upcoming drama, “Khudparast”.
Directed by Aabis Raza, the drama is produced under the banner of Big Bang Entertainment. Ramsha Khan is going to share the screen with Shahzad Sheikh for the first time in this serial.
Khudparast is based on this girl, Uswa, played by Khan, who is a liberal and an open-minded person. She gets wedded into a conservative family but soon finds the truth about them. At first, she tries to compromise but then stands against their traditions; her liberty is far more important to her and she ends up hurting her loved ones hence Khudparast.
Uswa is a completely different role to what Ramsha has played so far. In Khudparast, Khan is going to portray every shade of Uswa’s personality right from happy-go-lucky to a selfish girl, from romantic to emotionally detached individual.
Speaking about the character, Ramsha Khan shares, “Uswa is not as innocent as my past characters have been. She is strong, blunt, rebellious, and selfish. She is not really negative but when things get out of her hand, she decides to take stand for herself and becomes self-centered hence Khudparast.”
Ramsha has been associated with mega projects like Mah-e-Tamam, Tumhari Mariam and Woh Aik Pal. In a short span of time, she has managed to achieve milestones through her acting prowess and now with all her flair, she is going to weave her magic in her upcoming serial.
The drama is scheduled to on air on ARY Digital in October 2018.
