Qatar Airways has announced the resumption of flight operations to Helsinki and Tokyo’s Haneda Airport as part of its global expansion strategy for summer 2026.

The airline confirmed that services to both destinations will restart from July 15, further strengthening Qatar Airways’ international connectivity across Europe and Asia while expanding its global network to more than 160 destinations worldwide.
Qatar Airways Returns to Helsinki
As part of its plan to enhance connectivity with Europe, Qatar Airways will initially operate four weekly flights between Doha and Helsinki beginning July 15.
The airline will later increase operations to daily flights from August 1 due to expected travel demand.
Initial Flight Schedule (From July 15)
Flights will operate every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday:
- Doha (DOH) to Helsinki (HEL) – Flight QR301
Departure: 08:40 | Arrival: 15:30 - Helsinki (HEL) to Doha (DOH) – Flight QR302
Departure: 17:05 | Arrival: 00:05
Additional Daily Flights (From August 1)
Additional flights will operate every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday:
- Doha (DOH) to Helsinki (HEL) – Flight QR303
Departure: 01:30 | Arrival: 08:20 - Helsinki (HEL) to Doha (DOH) – Flight QR304
Departure: 09:50 | Arrival: 16:50
Qatar Airways stated that the expanded Helsinki service will particularly benefit travelers from Australia, Kenya, and Southeast Asia through seamless onward connections via Doha.
Flights Resume to Tokyo Haneda
The airline is also restoring services to Tokyo Haneda Airport, complementing its existing operations to Tokyo Narita Airport.
Qatar Airways will begin with four weekly flights from July 15 and expand to daily operations from August 1.
Tokyo Haneda Flight Schedule
Operating every Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from July 15:
- Doha (DOH) to Tokyo Haneda (HND) – Flight QR812
Departure: 07:50 | Arrival: 00:05 - Tokyo Haneda (HND) to Doha (DOH) – Flight QR813
Departure: 01:35 | Arrival: 06:45
From August 1, the route will operate daily.
The airline said the resumed Haneda service will improve domestic connectivity within Japan and offer smoother transfers for travelers arriving from Europe and the Middle East.
Expanding Global Connectivity
Qatar Airways said the expansion reflects its continued focus on rebuilding and strengthening its worldwide network across six continents.
