Qatar Airways is the Diamond Sponsor of Pakistan Travel Mart for the Second Consecutive Year

DOHA: Qatar Airways is proud to be the Diamond Sponsor of Pakistan Travel Mart (PTM), Pakistan’s biggest annual international travel and tourism expo, taking place at Karachi Expo Centre from   2 – 4 October 2018.

During the exhibition, the award-winning airline will have the opportunity to showcase its award-winning Qsuite product and the growing destination network to a target audience of over 25K visitors at a bespoke branded stand. Visitors will also have an opportunity to gain bonus miles, as well as gain access to Qatar Airways fast track upgrade program after joining Privilege club at the stand.

Qatar Airways Pakistan Country Manager, Mr. Ahmad Mir, said: “We are delighted to be the Diamond Sponsor of Pakistan Travel Mart for the second consecutive year. Pakistan Travel Mart is the country’s largest international travel and tourism expo, and it is a pleasure to have the opportunity to provide visitors of the expo with a firsthand experience of our world-class Qsuite Business Class seat. Qatar Airways award-winning Qsuite is a patented, one-of-a-kind product featuring the first ever double bed in Business class, and we are pleased to offer our corporate clients a glimpse of this game-changing product.

“This sponsorship also highlights our commitment to the Pakistani market, providing us visibility and exposure towards a wide and varied target audience.”

The national carrier of the State of Qatar currently serves 68 weekly flights from seven of Pakistan’s major cities: Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Sialkot, Faisalabad and Multan. Through a seamless stopover at Doha’s five-star hub, Hamad International Airport, travellers can reach more than 150 business and leisure destinations across six continents through the airline’s extensive global network.

Pakistani nationals now number among 80 countries who no longer need to apply or pay for a visa to visit Qatar; instead, a multi-entry waiver will be issued free-of-charge subject to conformity to certain terms and conditions, enabling visitors to experience many of Qatar’s unique attractions and discover its renowned hospitality and cultural heritage.

A multiple award-winning airline, Qatar Airways was named ‘World’s Best Business Class’ by the 2018 World Airline Awards, managed by international air transport rating organisation Skytrax. It was also named ‘Best Airline in the Middle East,’ ‘World’s Best First Class Airline Lounge,’ and ‘Best Business Class Seat,’ in recognition of its ground-breaking Business Class experience, Qsuite.

Qatar Airways currently operates a modern fleet of more than 200 aircraft via its home and hub, Hamad International Airport (HIA), to more than 150 destinations worldwide. Earlier this year, Qatar Airways revealed a host of forthcoming global destinations in line with its expedited expansion plans, including Gothenburg, Sweden; Da Nang, Vietnam and Mombasa, Kenya.
