Balochistan Operations: Four Militants Killed, Major Wajahat Waheed Martyred, Says ISPR

Balochistan Operations: Security forces conduct counter-terrorism operations in Kalat and Gwadar, according to ISPR.
Security forces killed four militants and recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Kalat district, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
However, Major Wajahat Waheed, 34, embraced martyrdom when an improvised explosive device (IED) targeted a security forces team conducting a clearance operation in Gwadar district.
In a statement issued on Monday, the military’s media wing said intelligence agencies had reported multiple hideouts of what it described as Indian-sponsored Fitna Al Hindustan in Shadi Kaur, Pasni tehsil, Gwadar district, and Jattakabad, Kalat district.
The reported presence of militants posed a threat to local residents, prompting security forces to launch operations to protect the population and clear the areas of militants.

Counter-Terrorism Operations to Continue
