Palwasha Yahya announced as President of KWCCI District East for the 2026–2028 term.
The Karachi Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KWCCI) District East held its Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) at Rangoonwala Hall, Karachi, on Monday.
The meeting began at 3:30 p.m. and attracted a large number of chamber members. Participants reviewed the chamber’s annual performance and discussed upcoming initiatives to promote women’s empowerment and entrepreneurship.
The AGM also formally announced the new leadership for the 2026–2028 term.
New KWCCI District East Leadership Announced
During the meeting, members announced the Executive Committee and office bearers for the new term.
Palwasha Yahya will serve as President, while Ayesha Kamran will take charge as Senior Vice President. Sonia Nawab will serve as Vice President for the 2026–2028 term.
Members congratulated Palwasha Yahya on her election and expressed confidence in her leadership.

Participants also extended their best wishes to the new executive body and expressed hope that it will strengthen women-led businesses and entrepreneurship across District East.
