The workshop brought together RFL teams from different regions of Pakistan along with representatives from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Protection Team.

Workshop Focuses on Capacity Building and Practical Strategies

Facilitators from the Asia-Pacific region led the training sessions and shared updated approaches, practical strategies, and operational insights related to Restoring Family Links services during emergencies.

Moreover, participants discussed recent emergency experiences in Pakistan and explored ways to improve response mechanisms and operational coordination.

The sessions also focused on addressing field challenges and strengthening preparedness during humanitarian crises.

Farzhana Naek attended the workshop and encouraged participants during the event.

Her presence motivated the teams working on humanitarian and emergency response initiatives.

Meanwhile, PRCS reaffirmed its commitment to reconnecting families and supporting communities affected by disasters, emergencies, and humanitarian crises.

Officials said the workshop would help strengthen coordination and improve the delivery of family link services across Pakistan.
