Karachi: Pakistan Business Group Organization organized a Corporate Eid Dinner in which the Chief Guest of the event was Senator Saeed Ghani.
Minister of Labour & Human Resources Sindh and President PPP Karachi, Senator Saeed Ghani has said that he has no desire to become the mayor of Karachi, and whoever the party deems as the best candidate, he will become the mayor of the city.
From 2001 to 2012, he represented the party in Baldia Uzma Karachi, after that, he became a senator and since 2017, he has been a member of the Sindh Assembly and a provincial minister. Therefore, it would be inappropriate to go back to Baldia Uzma, whoever will be the Mayor of Karachi, the whole party and the Sindh government will be with him.
On this occasion, Patron-in-Chief of Pakistan Business Group, Farhan-ur-Rehman, Founder President Faraz-ur-Rehman, President Waheed Panjwani, Vice Chairman Nasir Sheikh, General Secretary Ali Arsh Khan, Administrator Karachi Dr. Saifur Rehman, MQM-P Deputy Convener Dr. Farooq Sattar, AIG Karachi Police Javed Alam Odho, Khalid Tawab, Zubair Chhaya, Shamim Farpoo, Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, Arshad Wahra, Mahmood Ahmad Khan, Muhammad Hanif Gohar, Altaf Tai, Iram Fawad, Amreen, Ansar Barni, Sajid Hanif, Kashif Ali Sheikh, Asma Sadaf, Maleeha, Masood, Abdul Qadir, Atiqa Tariq, Hayat Khan, Kumil Polani, Yahya Polani, Akhtar Ismail, Kashif Rafi, Waqar Ahmad Sheikh, Aftab Gilani, Sana Ismail, Fayyaz Ilyas, Almas Imrani, Dr. Imran Yusuf and a large number of businessmen participated.
Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani said that after what happened in the country, Imran Khan is not blameless. Saeed Ghani said that 80% of businessmen are of Khalid Tawab’s ideas, any society develops thanks to businessmen, if the economy is not right, the journey of development is impossible, he said that the government cannot provide employment to all. In this regard, the private sector has to come forward, the business community will be strong, then unemployment and inflation will end in the country.
Deputy Convener of MQM-P Dr. Farooq Sattar said that Mayor is missing from Karachi after Waseem Akhtar, Mayor’s presence in the city is needed in Karachi and the country, and many things including politics are missing. When these things are recovered, the despair of the business community will end, he said, adding that the population of Karachi has also gone missing. We will reveal the real population.
He said that institutions must be with each other under public-private partnership, we want a democratic system in which the businessmen community is more in number.
AIG Karachi Police Javed Alam Odho said that the real leader is the businessman community, no police officer can be successful unless he has the support of the business community. He said that the number of people who set fire to the house is less.
He said that the biggest problem is peace and order, if peace is established in the city, not only Karachi, but the country will continue its journey of development.
Farhan-ur-Rehman said that our non-political group which aims to serve the people has achieved a lot in one year. He said that the way Saeed Ghani is serving, he should be the mayor of this city. The PPP has won the most seats in the local body elections, after which the mayorship of Karachi is their right.
He said that SM Muneer was our role model, he has a big role in the position we are in today. He said that he will end unemployment by developing the IT sectors.
Faraz-ur-Rahman said that the establishment of the Pakistan Business Group Organization was implemented one and a half years ago, we have to play the role played by our elders, and we need the support of all leaders.
Waheed Panjwani said that the gaps in the society must be closed, by working together and respecting each other’s institutions, Pakistan will develop and prosperity will come to the nation.
Zubair Chhaya said that the nation is suffering due to inflation, but the situation will improve and despair will end.
Khalid Tawab said that they want to bring the political parties on the same page. The interest of the country is in everyone moving together, people are leaving Pakistan because of the bad situation, it is not a good omen. He said that the Pakistan Business Group Organization has organized a good event, I congratulate them, and at the end of the event, shields were also presented to the chief guest and the guests.
