Over 71 Terrorists Killed in Balochistan Operations ISPR
Security forces conduct counterterrorism operations in Balochistan.
More than 71 terrorists have been killed in security operations across Balochistan during the past 96 hours, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The military’s media wing said the operations targeted hideouts in several areas of the province. It reported that weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered.
ISPR said the latest operations followed intelligence about militant hideouts in the Shaban area of Quetta district. Security forces launched an operation in Ziarat and surrounding areas on September 21.
33 Terrorists Killed in Operation Shaban
According to ISPR, security forces cleared several hideouts during Operation Shaban. Troops engaged militants in intense exchanges of fire.
The military said 33 terrorists were killed during the operation. Weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the cleared locations.
ISPR said the operation intensified over the following 72 hours. Security forces killed another 23 terrorists during this period.

Troops also cleared a large area and reduced what ISPR described as the threat to nearby communities. The clearance operation remains underway.
Operations Reported in Nushki and Mand
In a separate intelligence-based operation in Nushki district on September 25, security forces killed 11 terrorists, ISPR said.
Another operation in Mand resulted in the deaths of six terrorists, according to the military’s media wing. Security forces also recovered a significant quantity of weapons and ammunition.
ISPR said the combined operations have taken the reported toll above 71 terrorists across Balochistan during the past 96 hours.
The military described the targeted groups as Fitna Al-Khawarij and Fitna Al-Hindustan. These are terms used by Pakistani authorities for militant groups they accuse of carrying out attacks in the country.
Counterterrorism Operations Continue
ISPR said the clearance operation in Shaban would continue until the security threat is neutralised.
The military also linked the campaign to the government’s Azm-e-Istehkam counterterrorism framework. The initiative was approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan.
ISPR said security forces and law-enforcement agencies would continue operations against what it described as foreign-sponsored terrorism.
The latest operations come amid continuing security concerns in Balochistan and other parts of Pakistan. The military has previously reported counterterrorism operations against militant hideouts in the province.
