Mohsin-e-Pakistan A Tribute to Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan

Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan holds a special place in Pakistan’s history. He is widely known as Mohsin-e-Pakistan.

His contributions to Pakistan’s defence remain a source of national pride. Moreover, his legacy continues to inspire generations.

To honour the renowned scientist, Salman Ahmed Siddiqui (Vasfy) wrote this eight-couplet tribute. The poem celebrates Dr Khan’s dedication and achievements. It also reflects his lasting place in the nation’s memory.

MOHSIN-E-PAKISTAN

Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan

For nation’s security, he forged a priceless shield of might,
And empowered every Pakistani child to make the nation’s future bright.

He raised the country’s head with pride amongst nations of the world,
And crafted a masterpiece of strength, where security stood unfurled.

He left behind comforts, honours, privileges and acclaim,
And returned again to his homeland, immortalising his name.

Peerless in his skill, unwavering in purpose, steadfast in his quest,
He forged an iron wall of strength that none could breach or test.

Consumed by love for Green and White, with patriotic fire aflame,
He made our cherished homeland a leader among Muslim lands in name.

He dazzled covetous eyes of those who watched our nation’s rise,
And made Pakistan a fortress of Islam with his nuclear prize.

The feeble-hearted foe withdrew, concealed within their own domain,
For he cast such a shadow of awe and fear beyond the frontier’s lane.

Vasfy, no title suits Abdul Qadeer Khan’s dignity more than this:
“Mohsin-e-Pakistan”—for his legacy made him dear to every heart.
