The third season of the Modern Premier League Season 3 was officially launched at the Al Kawthar University Auditorium in Karachi, bringing together healthcare professionals, hospital teams, sponsors, and media representatives for a celebration of sports, teamwork, and professional collaboration.

Organized by The Modern Hospital, the league aims to promote wellness, inter-hospital engagement, and healthy competition among medical institutions. The opening ceremony featured senior management, participating teams, and key stakeholders from the healthcare sector.
During the event, officials outlined tournament rules, match formats, and disciplinary guidelines to ensure fair play and structured competition. The league will be held from April 22 to April 26 at the UBL Sports Complex, featuring 24 participating teams. Defending champions Bahria International will enter the tournament with strong expectations to retain their title.
The winning team will receive a cash prize of Rs. 300,000, while the runner-up will be awarded Rs. 150,000.
A key highlight of the ceremony was the announcement of an open collaboration initiative by Dr. Sohail Abbasi, Director of Operations, under which hospitals are encouraged to form partnerships to improve patient facilitation services.
The event concluded with the official unveiling of the tournament trophy and confirmation that Season 3 has formally begun, marking another step in the league’s growing role in promoting sports culture within the healthcare community.
