KARACHI, May 2026: The iconic automotive brand MINI has officially entered the Pakistani market, marking a significant milestone in the country’s evolving premium mobility sector with the launch of its all-electric vehicle family in partnership with BMW Group Middle East and Dewan Motors.
The new portfolio introduces a fully electric range including the MINI Cooper Electric, MINI Aceman, and MINI Countryman Electric, bringing next-generation mobility solutions to Pakistani customers for the first time.
Built on an advanced technology platform, the new MINI family combines signature design elements with a fully digital driving experience and locally emission-free mobility, tailored for urban lifestyles and modern customer expectations. The models emphasize personalisation, offering a wide range of trims, materials, and digital experience modes that allow users to shape their driving environment according to individual preferences.
At the heart of the lineup, the MINI Cooper Electric reimagines the brand’s classic identity for the electric era, featuring compact proportions, the iconic “go-kart feeling,” and a minimalist design enhanced by a circular OLED display and MINI Operating System 9 for intuitive digital interaction.
Positioned between the Cooper and Countryman, the MINI Aceman introduces a new fully electric crossover concept in the premium small car segment, blending compact design with versatility and a progressive aesthetic aimed at urban mobility.
The MINI Countryman Electric, the largest model in the range, extends the brand into a more spacious and versatile segment, offering enhanced comfort, increased practicality, and available all-wheel drive while maintaining MINI’s signature driving dynamics and digital innovation.
Speaking on the launch, Dennis Obermeier, Head of MINI Middle East, said Pakistan is showing growing demand for expressive, connected, and design-driven vehicles. He added that the new electric portfolio reflects MINI’s transition toward advanced digital mobility while preserving its distinctive driving character.
MINI’s entry into Pakistan is supported by its long-standing partnership with Dewan Motors, the official BMW Group importer in the country since 2004. With established operations in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, the company aims to deliver a premium customer experience aligned with global standards.
Dewan Motors Director Operations Zaeem Ul Haque described the launch as a strategic step in strengthening Pakistan’s premium automotive landscape. He said the initiative goes beyond product introduction and focuses on building long-term customer relationships and enhancing market development.
The launch also introduces BMW Group’s Retail.Next concept in Pakistan, featuring integrated BMW and MINI showrooms designed around digital engagement and personalized customer interaction. The new retail model aims to redefine premium automotive experiences through technology-driven consultation and seamless brand integration.
