Millions of minorities living in India are facing Indian atrocities like Kashmiris: PM

Prime Minister Imran Khan has urged the United Nations Security Council and other International forums to take serious actions against illegal and unilateral steps taken by India in Kashmir to avoid any human tragedy.

Addressing Asia Society in New York today, he said over 8 million Kashmiris have been detained by Indian Occupation forces in the held valley since last 53 days. He said curfew should be left as soon as possible and all steps taken by India illegally and unconstitutionally should be restored. He said the millions of minorities living in India are facing Indian atrocities like Kashmiris.

Commenting on the dialogue on Kashmir with India, the Prime Minister said his government its success in general elections, has tried several times to negotiate with BJP government. He, however, said that the negotiation process with Indian now subject to left curfew from Kashmir valley. He said the future of the Kashmir should be decided as per aspiration of Kashmiris as promised by United Nations Security Council through resolutions.

Imran Khan said that his government has taken commendable steps to restore the economy of Pakistan on its own foot. He said we have introduced several reforms in the country and due to these steps, unprecedented revenue is expected to collect during the fiscal year. He said due to effective government policies, the economy of the country has been stabilized.  He said steps are also being taken for reforms in FBR to expand the tax net in the country. He said Pakistan is now investment-friendly country having huge investment opportunities in different sectors.
