KATI President Sheikh Umer Rehan welcomes Junaid Naqi’s appointment as Chairman of the Korangi Vocational Training Centre.

Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) President Sheikh Umer Rehan has welcomed the appointment of former KATI president Junaid Naqi as Chairman of the Institute Management Committee of the Vocational Training Centre (Girls), Korangi.

Sheikh Umer Rehan congratulated Junaid Naqi on his new role. He described the appointment as a positive step for technical and vocational education in the area.

He said Junaid Naqi’s industrial and administrative experience could help improve the centre’s training programmes. In particular, he called for courses that match current industry needs and market demand.

The KATI president also stressed the importance of increasing women’s participation in the industrial sector. He said modern technical skills can help women access employment and achieve financial independence.

He also stressed the need for closer cooperation between industry and vocational training institutions. Such cooperation can help institutions design courses around real workplace requirements.
