According to the Consulate, WJIS 2026 will serve as a key platform bringing together government institutions, investors, and industry representatives to explore opportunities in infrastructure, manufacturing, agriculture, and emerging sectors.

As part of preparations for the summit, a virtual Pre-Business Meeting is scheduled for mid-May 2026. The session will introduce priority investment projects and facilitate early engagement between investors and Indonesian project stakeholders.

Drs. Mudzakir, M.A., Consul General of Indonesia in Karachi, said the summit provides a structured platform for meaningful engagement and opens avenues for practical collaboration between the business communities of Indonesia and Pakistan.

He reaffirmed the Consulate’s commitment to strengthening economic cooperation and promoting closer ties between the two countries through sustained business-to-business engagement and investment facilitation.

The initiative is expected to deepen bilateral trade relations and create new opportunities for joint ventures and cross-border investment partnerships.
